Traditional strategic planning focuses predominately on the left brain, masculine, linear, aspects of strategy and neglect the right brain, feminine and intuitive aspects of business. Don’t acknowledge the energetic aspects all together, or worse, ridicule them. I know I have participated in many of these sorts of sessions, and something always felt like it was missing. I even assumed it was related to my personal business savvy or lack thereof. I took me a long time to embrace my intuitive gifts in an explicit way, sighting them and crediting them. It was hard to stand in my power and embrace these parts of me.
